Dismantling is often the safest way of removing trees that are restricting access, pose a threat to property, or are dangerous. Dismantling a tree in sections is the best option in built up areas or in cases where you want to avoid damage to the surrounding area.

Over the years we have developed techniques to remove a tree without damaging any surrounding areas by using lowering ropes and rigging techniques. Although tree removal is a last resort, there are circumstances when it is necessary. We can help decide whether or not a tree should be removed. Removal is recommended when:

• The tree is dead or dying
• The tree is considered irreparably hazardous
• The tree is causing an obstruction that is impossible to correct through pruning
• The tree is crowding and causing harm to other tree
• The tree is to be replaced by a more suitable specimen.
